The FDNA Way

Our Coaching Philosophy

FDNA was built for families who want more than just training. In our cages, players are developed in a high-pressure, academy-standard environment built around one core belief: dominate the ball, dominate the game.

How It All Started

FDNA started with a simple truth: too many talented young players get left behind due to lack of environment.

FDNA Founder, Nick Hawkins, had seen it firsthand. From his own journey through football, to coaching in academy environments, to producing players who kept finding their way into professional clubs, one thing became obvious: most kids were being taught to stay within themselves, play safe — not to become dominant.

The best young players weren’t just technically good. They were aggressive on the ball. Brave under pressure. Sharp in tight spaces. Resilient. They had an edge. And that edge was missing from most coaching environments in the Midlands.

So FDNA was built to bring it back.

What began with just a handful of players quickly turned into something much bigger. Why?

Because parents saw the difference. They saw the energy, the standards, the structure, and the growth in their children. They saw their kids becoming more confident, more resilient, not just as footballers — but as young people .

Every touch matters. Every detail given means something. Every session is designed to develop the kind of child and footballer who has the aggression, confidence, and mentality to serve them in all walks of life.

Today, FDNA is the UK’s biggest private football coaching system, standing for Football Dominance & Aggression.

FDNA wasn’t built to fit in with the regular. It was built to change the game completely. This is not normal coaching. This is FDNA.

Our Mission

Our mission is to give every player access to the tools, mindset, and standards required to control the ball, compete with intent, and perform under pressure — while developing the discipline, resilience, and character that carry beyond the pitch.

Our Vision

FDNA exists to raise the standard of player development by building dominant, confident footballers through high-intensity, academy-level coaching in a pressure-driven environment.

We are committed to doing what’s right for the child first, player second — Always.

Our Values

Our values aren't words on a wall.

They're the standards every player, parent and spectator not only feels, but hears before any session even begins.

At FDNA, everything is built around growth. Not false confidence. Not easy praise. Relentless growth. The kind that comes from being challenged, pushed, and trusted to rise to the level in front of you.

We value dominance because football belongs to the brave.

We value aggression because shy children deserve the chance to be seen.

We value discipline because talent without standards goes nowhere.

We value honesty because players and parents deserve the truth, not empty promises.

We value resilience because children who go on to achieve magical things are the ones who respond when life gets hard.

And we value care because none of this matters unless the child is genuinely being developed the right way.

That is why our coaches demand so much. Because we believe in what these children can become.

And that is why parents trust FDNA. Because they know the mission is bigger than football.

It is about helping young people become stronger, more confident, and more prepared for whatever level they want to reach.

Check what our clients have said about FDNA.

“FDNA has made such a difference for our son George. He absolutely loves football and, thanks to the support and tools he’s received at FDNA, his confidence has grown massively both on and off the pitch. Seeing him happy, improving, and thriving while doing something he loves has been incredible for us as parents. FDNA genuinely cares about the players and their development, and we’re so grateful for the role they’ve played in George’s journey.”

“My son has just officially signed for a Category One academy, and honestly we can’t thank FDNA enough for everything they’ve done. I know they always say it’s mainly down to the player’s commitment, but in our eyes a huge amount of credit goes to FDNA. They opened the door for my son to chase his dream of becoming a professional footballer and gave us one of the proudest moments we could ever have as parents. Seeing how far he’s come in such a short space of time is incredible. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to FDNA for believing in him and helping him take that step.”

“The biggest difference with FDNA is the standard. From the intensity of the sessions to the way the coaches speak, organise, and push the players, everything feels a level above. My child has become braver, sharper, and far more confident on the ball since joining. As a parent, that’s all you want to see — real improvement in a place that genuinely cares.”
